La banda sonora de This is England recopila una buena muestra de canciones emblemáticas referentes al ska o punk como Toots and The Maytals, Al Barry and The Cimarons, Uk Subs, Specials, Percy Sledge, Lee Scratch Perry and The Upsetters, Dexy Midnight Runners … con música clásica, reggae o pop.

El Cd puede encontrarse con dos versiones, una con 24 temas y otro con 26, y contiene también algunos insertos con los diálogos del film.

Lo que más me ha llamado la atención, es el empleo de varias piezas, tampoco compuestas originalmente para la película de Meadows, del galardonado pianista turinés Ludovico Einaudi. Un autor que se caracteriza por sus composiciones minimalistas, en una linea parecida a la de Michael Nyman en el cine.
