T. Rex (originalmente llamada Tyrannosaurus Rex) fue una banda de rock inglesa fundada
en Londres en los años 1960 que tuvo éxito como grupo en los años 1970. La banda fue fundada
por Marc Bolan en 1967 . Posteriormente quedó reducida a dúo con Marc Bolan y Steve Took,
editando tres álbumes producidos por Tony Visconti.
La banda acabó sus días cuando Marc Bolan murió en un accidente de tráfico en 1977,
sin haber cumplido los 30 años.
