Siouxsie and the Banshees es una banda de rock británica formada en 1976 y abanderada del movimiento post-punk, junto con la banda Joy Division. Sus influencias van desde el proto-punk de The Velvet Underground y The Stooges al glam rock de Marc Bolan & T-Rex. Su álbum debut, «The Scream», fue nombrado «el mejor álbum debut del año» en 1978 por la revista Sounds. El grupo se disolvió en 1996, aunque se volvió a reunir brevemente para una gira en 2002.

«Siouxsie & The Banshees At The BBC» (2009) es un triple CD remasterizado digitalmente que recoge sesiones del grupo en la BBC y canciones en directo grabadas entre 1977 y 2001.
