Coheed & Cambria es una banda rock de Nueva York fundada en 2000. La banda aglutina en su estilo musical elementos de rock progresivo, punk rock, metal y post-hardcore. El grupo tiene 5 álbumes de estudio, todos conceptuales y entrelazados bajo el nombre general de «The Amory Wars» (saga de cómics escritos por el cantante Claudio Sánchez).

«Good Apollo, I m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness» es su tercer álbum de estudio, editado por Columbia Records/Equal Vision Records en septiembre de 2005.

El disco corresponde a la primera parte del cuarto libro de los cómics The Amory Wars, que se completó en 2007 con el álbum «Good Apollo, I m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: The World of No Tomorrow».

Se extrajeron tres sencillos: «The Suffering», «Welcome Home» y «Ten Speed (of God s Blood & Burial)».
