Yusuf Islam (nacido Steven Demetre Georgiou en Londres, el 21 de julio de 1948) es un músico británico más conocido por su antiguo nombre artístico, Cat Stevens. Vendió millones de discos, especialmente entre los años 1960 y 1970. Sus tempranos álbumes de los 70, «Tea for the Tillerman» y «Teaser and the Firecat», fueron ambos certificados triple platino en Norteamérica.

Su estilo musical es melódico, entre el rock hippie y la balada pop, incluyendo toques folk de influencia tanto británica como griega. Después de una experiencia cercana a la muerte, alrededor de 1978, decidió convertirse al islam y abandonar la música, adoptando el nombre de Yusuf Islam.
