Anthrax es una banda estadounidense de thrash metal, formada en Nueva York en 1981. Anthrax cambió mezclando a partes iguales hardcore y thrash metal con una generosa dosis de humor. Mientras que las otras grandes bandas del género (Metallica, Megadeth y Slayer) eran mortalmente serios, Anthrax escribía canciones sobre cómics y novelas de Stephen King.

«Among The Living» es el tercer álbum de la banda. El álbum salió a la venta en 1987. Considerado como uno de los mejores álbumes de Anthrax, llegó al disco de oro.
